In Friday's quarterfinal matchup, Inter Miami CF will host Charlotte FC at DRV PNK Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The winner of the Inter Miami-Charlotte FC game will face the Philadelphia Union-Querétaro winner in the semifinals on Aug. 16.

Inter Miami's next scheduled MLS regular-season game — originally slated for Aug. 20 against Charlotte FC — has been postponed to a later date to be announced. In the knockout rounds, Charlotte FC defeated Liga MX's Cruz Azul in a penalty shootout and then Houston Dynamo FC in a wild late-game rally to set up a date with Messi and Inter Miami.
