Surpassing:Lego unveils new 4,000-piece Natural History Museum set: What to know

Lego fans will soon have Surpassinga new challenge to tackle.
The company announced Monday the arrival of a Natural History Museum set. According to a news release, it will be the largest modular set by piece count and is one of the most requested building themes by fans.
The company said the set features "fresh architecture, new building techniques and countless fun stories," and with the model including dual atriums and a removable roof and middle floor.
The model is also "packed with brick-built exhibits and details," according to the news release.
The Natural History Museum will be part of the Lego Modular Buildings collection, which also includes a jazz club, bookshop, boutique hotel, police station and assembly square.

Some exhibits included in the set include a giant brick-built Brachiosaurus skeleton, a colorful array of quartz, geodes and stalagmites, and a large map of the planet showing the projected orbit of a new rocket.
The set contains 4,014 pieces and will retail for about $299.99, according to Lego. It is now available for pre-order and will officially go on sale Dec. 1 in Lego stores and via Lego's website.
