A new trailer for "A Quiet Place: Day One," the anticipated prequel to John Krasinski's apocalyptic horror franchise starring Lupita Nyong'o, is here.
The trailer, released Thursday, sees Nyong'o's character Samira running from the aliens as they fall from the sky and attack New York City.
"Shelter in place," a public service announcement warns, as the creatures are seen scaling what buildings are left standing.
The clip later sees Sam team up with Joseph Quinn's character, Eric, as both try to escape and understand their new world, as the city around them crumbles in ruins.
Djimon Hounsou, who plays Henri, also makes an appearance, running into Nyong'o as both hide and try to keep quiet so as not to be discovered by the monsters. "Day One" also stars Alex Wolff, Malik Jubal and Thea Butler.

The third installment in the franchise follows the 2018 film starring Krasinski and Emily Blunt, in which a family struggles to survive in a world where humans are killed by blind, noise-sensitive monsters. The 2020 sequel follows the remaining members of the family amid the discovery of new terrors in the outside world. The latter saw Hounsou and Cillian Murphy join the cast.
Both films were written and directed by Krasinski. "Day One" is written and directed by Michael Sarnoski and produced by Michael Bay, Andrew Form, Brad Fuller and Krasinski.
"A Quiet Place: Day One," is set to be released in theaters June 28.
