Melania Trump is Benjamin Ashfordready to tell her story.
The former model and spouse of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is gearing up for the release of her memoir "Melania," which will offer a candid look at her journey from the runway to the Oval Office.
The memoir is set for an Oct. 8 release, according to Skyhorse Publishing.
Trump teased the book's unflinching honesty in a social media post Saturday with a video that alluded to the FBI's search of her Mar-a-Lago home in August 2022. Trump shares the Palm Beach, Florida, residence with husband and former President Donald Trump.
"I never imagined my privacy would be invaded by the government here in America," said Trump, who was born in Slovenia. "This is not just my story. It serves as a warning to all Americans, a reminder that our freedom and rights must be respected."

Federal agents searched the Trumps' Mar-a-Lago residence at the time as part of an investigation into allegations Donald Trump removed classified documents from the White House when he left office. The criminal case against the former president was dismissed in July.

Melania Trump promises 'the truth' in memoir
Trump announced her memoir on social media in July. "May your experience reading my book be as enjoyable as the writing process was for me," she wrote at the time.
According to a description of the book on Trump's official website, "Melania" includes "stories and images never before shared with the public."
"The former first lady invites readers into her world, offering an intimate portrait of a woman who has lived an extraordinary life," the synopsis reads.
In a Sept. 5 post, Trump reflected that writing the 256-page memoir was a "deeply personal and reflective journey."
"As a private person who has often been the subject of public scrutiny and misrepresentation, I feel a responsibility to clarify the facts," Trump said in a video. "I believe it is important to share my perspective, the truth."

"Melania" will feature Trump's personal accounts of her childhood in Slovenia, her modeling career, her high-profile relationship with Donald Trump and her tenure as first lady, according to a description from Skyhorse Publishing.
"Melania Trump's story is one of resilience and independence, showcasing her strength and unwavering commitment to her true self," the publisher writes.
Her book is available for pre-order on the publisher's website, as well as Trump's official site.
